Amy Crider

Amy began swimming summer league at the age of 5 with the Ashburn Farm Barracudas.  She is a rising sophomore at VT, a member of the VT Women's Water Polo team, a 3-year swim team captain at Battlefield, holder of 5 individual swim records at Battlefield, and a finalist at the Virginia State High School Swimming Championships in the 100 Back and 200 Individual Medley.  She loves seeing swimmers improve their strokes!

Bobby Duggleby

Bobby is an avid athlete who considers swimming a great exercise for the body and mind. He was a 3-year captain at Battlefield, where he made States in his junior and senior years. His favorite stroke is breaststroke. Bobby will be attending Florida State University in the fall where he hopes to pursue a major in Biological Science and a minor in Music Performance for Voice. He is very excited about swim season and looks forward to meeting all the new sharks!

Kara Mountain

Kara is a graduating senior at Battlefield High School where she was a swim team captain and lettered in swimming all four years.  Kara was active in DECA and was a Youth Salute nominee for Prince William County.  She will be attending Longwood University in the fall.  Kara loves team building, working with swimmers individually, especially on backstroke, and teaching swimmers new cheers!

Mike Burns

Nick Mathis

Nick is a rising sophomore at Battlefield High School where he lettered as a freshman on the BHS Swim Team and where he is involved in the ROTC program.  Nick swims year round for the CUBU-West (Curl-Burke) Swim Team (formerly the Patriots) under Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist Jeremy Linn.  His favorite events are the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Freestyle.  In summer league he likes the 100 Individual Medley because it is the longest distance race.

Lara Crider

Lara is a rising Junior at Battlefield High School where she has earned 2 letters on the BHS Swim Team.  This season she was the girls MVP for the swim team.  Lara swims year round for the CUBU-West (Curl-Burke) Swim Team under Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist Jeremy Linn.  Her favorite event is the 100 Butterfly.  But, in summer league swimming, she likes the 100 Individual Medley best!
