DVCC Sharks' 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Please join us on June 4, 2012 for the DVCC Sharks' Golf Tournament benefitting the DVCC Sharks Swim Team. The tournament will take place at the beautiful Dominion Valley Country Club. This event will include a 4-person scramble, followed by dinner and an awards reception. A number of prizes are being offered, including Closest to the PIN Male/Female, Longest Drive Male/Female as well as prizes for the Top Finishers! Dining for Dollars

at Glory Day

DV Sharks and Glory Days have partnered in the Dining for Dollars program. All you need to do is save your receipt when dining at Glory Days (take-out receipts included) between May 1 and July 31. Then return your receipt to Lisa Hoagland and the Sharks will receive 10% back of your total food purchase. If you have more questions, please contact Lisa Hoagland for details.

As soon as apparel orders are in at Riptide, our apparel committee will send out an email letting everyone know. If you paid for shipping then your order will be sent to the address you provided at the time of purchase. Stay tune to your email for further information.

2012 DV Sharks Summer Swim Registration

March 1-15

Register for DV Sharks 2012 Summer Swim Team will run from March 1st - March 15th. Don't miss out on all the summer fun! Cost is $120 for the first swimmer and $110 for all other swimmers in a family. Registration includes a great team t-shirt and swim cap. Join now! Don't miss out!

Practices start on May 29^th and while school is in, practices will be at night. Once school is out, you will have the option of practicing in the morning or at night. More details on practice times and locations will come after registration is over, and we've determined how many Sharks have registered.

If you have a change of plans and need to withdraw from the team, we understand. Please email us at registration@dvsharks.com. A refund, less a $20 admin fee, will be issued for withdrawals prior to May 1st, and a refund, less a $50 admin fee, will be issued for withdrawals occuring after May 1, but before Time Trials. No refunds will be issued after Time Trials.

Sharks Take 2nd Place in PWSL White Division

Congratulations, Sharks, on an Excellent Divisional Swim!

The Sharks whittled away at a deficit of over 300 points early in the meet to take 2nd place in the White Division, falling to Piedmont by just 160 points. Though the Sharks may not have brought home a victory, there was still a great time had at the pool as evidenced by the traditional celebratory team plunge! We are so proud of our Shark Swimmers! Congratulations!

Thank you to everyone that helped make this a fantastic swim season. Everyone's assistance is greatly appreciated.

Winter Program Information

The Sharks Winter Swim Program is underway. Practices are held at the WARF on Sundays. Sessions run from 12-1 and from 1-2. If you would like additional information about the program, please contact president@dvsharks.com.

For information about other winter programs, please click on the Links tab at the top of the page. Here you will find a variety of programs listed and links to each program's website. Some of these programs begin as early as September and current Sharks do participate in a variety of them. There are options available for all ages and levels - even some adult programs!
